A-Ville Daily is a fabulous destination for news and snippets of daily life in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood. Meet the crew:

Dawson co-founded A-Ville Daily with John over a couple drinks and a game of pool at Crew. When he's not at his day job Dawson enjoys scootering around town, dining out and collecting feline art.

John co-founded A-Ville Daily with Dawson that very same night at Crew. He keeps an eye out on the intersection of Clark and Balmoral and likes to spend his free time tormenting his friends with random facts about Enya.

Alex, a fellow Fairy, helped start up this whole thing. When he's not apprenticing to become a gym bunny he enjoys lounging on the beach, reading at The Coffee Studio or whipping up something delicious in the kitchen.

Richard skulks A-Ville nightly fulfilling his role as the Gladys Kravitz of the hood during his Clark Street Cruises. When he's not peering into windows or babbling on street corners, he keeps a suspicious eye on the Chicago Politburo — otherwise known as local government.

Barbie is our resident advice columnist. If you've ever been to Hamburger Mary's you've probably run in to her serving up a side of sass with your order. Have a question you need answered? Just ask Barbie!

Chuck is an artist who is known for painting Chicago alleys, so if you see him on your back porch, he’s not trying to climb in your bedroom window. He’s just getting a bird's-eye view of your neighborhood for his next painting. Chuck collects odd portraits and can never get “The Price Is Right” theme song out of his head. Keep an eye out for his paintings of Andersonville on A-Ville Daily!

Ms. Bailey has lived in Andersonville since 2000. She remembers when Ranalli's was Cool Metro Studios, when Starbucks was a florist, when Vincent was the Dellwood Pickle, and when Hamburger Mary's was Cafe Boost. That means she's old and withered, and everything she says is true. Now get offa her lawn, you kids!
